Lexington Main Street Association exists for the
sole purpose of revitalizing Lexington's downtown and surrounding
business district through providing organization, economic development,
design, and promotion to the district.
Lexington Main Street Association is a member of
Mississippi Main Street Association, a project supported and endorsed by the Mississippi
Development Authority. Lexington Main Street is a member of National Main Street, a division of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Lexington Main Street Association is a public/private
partnership receiving a critical portion of its funding from the
City of Lexington, and the balance from private business owners and
individuals and through fundraising efforts throughout each year.
The Lexington Main Street Association office is located on the bottom floor of the
restored historic Swinney Building (see photo) on the southwest corner of Lexington's
historic Court Square.
Office hours are typically 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. Lexington Main Street Association welcomes the opportunity to show visitors
around Lexington and share information about our city. To contact
